HOPE takes a holistic approach to their jobseekers’ success, providing a wide range of resources and supportive services, including our comprehensive Digital Literacy program. Upon enrollment in one of their programs, all jobseekers in need of digital support receive a laptop and/or WiFi hotspot, as well as 2-3 days of their innovative Digital Literacy Pre-Training, allowing them to show up to their job training classes with confidence and skills. Our 40-hour Digital Literacy curriculum, embedded across all training programs, provides jobseekers with the skills to not only apply to jobs, but succeed in the workforce long-term. Specific lessons include navigation basics, Google Suite, file management, word processing, resume formatting, email, using the internet and social media for job search, and more.
