Bronx, New York, (July 19, 2021) The Ponce De Leon Foundation was established to help support the communities served by Ponce Bank by providing funding to charitable causes and organizations located within any county in which the Bank has a branch office now and in the future, in turn allowing them to share in our long-term growth.
The Board of Directors of the Foundation will consider requests for grants from all charitable organizations that support the mission of the Foundation, comply with its guidelines and demonstrate an ability to cost effectively deliver the services and benefits which meet the needs of communities served by the Bank.
The core areas of focus by the Foundation include programs targeted towards: affordable housing, healthcare, economic development, education, social service needs, cultural events and targeted programming for Youth and Senior services.
Applications will be accepted between July 19, 2021 and August 31, 2021.
The Grant Awards will be announced in November 2021.
