How to Green Your Block workshops, led byBBG staff at the Garden, took place on April 30 and May 29. Both dates reachedmaximum capacity, with 80 attendees in total. 240 pollinator-friendly, nativeplants were distributed to participants

Over 60 enthusiastic Greenest Blockgardeners gathered in July for the third annual Insider Tour of last year’swinning Greenest Block in Brooklyn—Lefferts Avenue between Rodgers and Bedfordstreets. Attendees learned tips directly from the winners of the 2018 contestand shared their own. A mini-plant giveaway of Begonia grandis and Salvialyrate topped off the event.
